East Texas Adventures!
As of late Mark has been tweeting more often but yesterday seemed to be a rare occasion. Mark tweeted through out the day and dubbed it East Texas Adventure Day! The day did round out pretty nicely, tweets that took us let us join in on a fun Sunday with Mark at stops like Dairy Queen, stop and check out the state flower of Texas – blue bonnets and last but not least a the fishing! Loved all the pictures and the video to end it, even if I am having trouble viewing the video today. It just proves again that whenever Mark tweets it’s more than worth it. Cannot wait for the next tweets Mark gives us. Also I have updated the pictures in the twitter section of the gallery!
News Update:
If you didn’t catch Mark’s tweet or our tweets, Mark will be hosting Circuit Fest: Music & Skate in Manila on May 25, 2013. Meet and greet tickets have been sold out but tickets to the shows seem to still be available. To all you lucky folks out in the Philippines I hope that you get a chance to attend this event if not for Mark but because it seems like something that would be fun no matter what. Again cannot wait to see what else we’ve got in coming our way!
Is This What We Have Been Waiting For?
We had hit a dry spell for a bit when it came to events and by extension pictures but the wait seems worth it as of late. With two events from late March, Hublot Celebrates New Brand Ambassador Kobe Bryant and the McDonald’s Premium McWrap Launch Party. Mark already has two under his belt (love the new belt buckle Mark) in the first week of April, two within the same day no less. It seems like we may just be back into the swing of things around here.
What is even better than these pictures? Interviews! Yes thanks to twitter I was able to see that UsWeekly sent free lance writer Mike Doria to interview Mark at the Marquee Dayclub Season Opening at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. We’re Ready For Whatever Is #almostready
Why do I love technology so much because in times like these I can go back and pull things when they’re needed. Today my love for twitter and the screen cap function is at an all time high thanks to Mark’s most recent tweet, let’s call it exhibit A -
Now really you have to go back almost a year, yes it’s been that long and refer to exhibits B and C to see where the excitement began -
You look at the tweet (exhibit B) that started it all and you think MUSIC FINALLY! With the next tweet (exhibit C) you think okay music is art and art takes time, maybe it’s an album. At least that’s what I thought and have until today, Mark says it isn’t what we think, well all I think is music so now I’m really not sure what to think. Perhaps this is Mark’s way of keeping us in suspense or what not but again he’s got me hook, line and sinker. I’m ready for whatever is almost ready, how about you folks?
1 Million Followers Waiting For The Next 140 characters
The big twitter milestone has been reached! Mark has been flirting with 1 million followers for a few weeks now and with the help of his fans today 1 million was achieved. Now it might now be a big deal anyone could have 1 million followers right? Well not true because not even every “celebrity” has 1 million followers. For someone who tweets as infrequently as Mark it is a feat, and really I think that is something that makes Mark getting to this milestone all the more special. He has less than 1,000 tweets under his name dating back to 2009. He doesn’t need to tell us good morning or goodnight, he doesn’t have to scheduled tweet sessions with fans, he doesn’t need to shamelessly promote himself or exploit his personal life. The man is true to himself and his twitter is no different, we see him make corny jokes, his hobbies, his love for his birds, interact with his friends, talk about his family and share what he is passionate about. He has given 1 million and plus followers and all of his fans quality tweets, pictures and video and I’m sure he will continue to do so. Congrats on 1 million Mark!

Will he or won’t? That was the question on the mind of Mark Salling fans this week. Just over a week ago it was reported that Mark had a lawsuit brought against him and the gossip and media attention has been a bit overwhelming to say the least. Going into the Screen Actors Guild Awards tonight I really wasn’t sure if we would see much of Mark on the carpet, the man has kept his personal life close and now it’s something that has been thrust into the spotlight for all but I was happily proven wrong. Mark not only walked the red carpet but he also spoke to E! correspondent Ross Matthews. Ross mentioned Glee and Mark’s return to the show and asked Mark about his current situation which in turn Mark responded.
Another Day At The Office
It’s back to work for Mark! Earlier in the day Mark tweeted about what seemed to be a lovely nap he took while on set of Glee. And he had a cuddle buddy, one Kevin McHale! It was a pretty adorable picture if I do say so myself. It seems that it wasn’t too hard for the papz to find Mark and his cast mates who were on location in Los Angeles filming for this years Valentine’s Day episode entitled “I Do.” Can’t wait to see what this episode turns out for Puck. New Year. New Look.
Tis the season, award season that is. January kicks off award season and although Glee isn’t as big of a player this year as it has been in the past it doesn’t mean that the festivities cannot be enjoyed. Now it’s been pretty quiet on the Mark front since the beginning of the month but a tweet from Janice (Mark’s publicist) that let us know we’ve got plenty to look forward to. It was more than enough to tide me over for the time being, hopefully it did the same for everyone else who has been itching for something new. She even hinted about Mark taking part in some of the awards show shenanigans, lucky for us he attended Golden Globe after parties where he showed off his new look in a Calvin Klein suit. I wasn’t to sure of the hair at first but I’m kind of digging it.
On January 27th, we can hope to see him suiting up again for the SAG Awards because Glee is nominated for the 4th straight year. Of course we also have the return of Glee to look forward to, January 24th. When we last saw Puck he had told his brother (Jake) that he was leaving the city of angels and coming back home to Lima to look after him and the rest of their family, so that definitely leaves the door open for Puck to pop up more often the second half of the season. For now we just sit back and wait for just a bit longer.
