Your character, Puck, has a mohawk. Why?
I did it for the audition and kind of got stuck with it.

And it was worth it?
Yeah, with Glee it’s a lot of work and a lot of reward. The cast toured all summer.

What was the best venue?
Radio City Music Hall. That was crazy and a dream come true.

Do you like getting dressed up and walking the red carpet?
I don’t really like red carpets. I don’t really like interviews.

What’s your personal style?
Laid-back, chill. Jeans, T-shirts. I wear a lot of shirts with birds on them; it’s kind of my thing.

If your house was burning down, what would you save?
I have a lot of guitars, including one modern acoustic that I’d save for sure.

Who has a look or style that you’re into?
Clooney steps it up, but right now I kind of like being myself.
